Join me on a Disney Jungle cruise ✨

Ok, so I just got the babies elephant in today, love it! Next the giraffe and 70" snake, I love that these animals are bigger then my baby! Love it too cute! We are going to use it for his room and birthday decor... We are doing the jungle cruise theme which I love! I have been thinking of other decorations to put up and decided I needed jungle trees!!! What better way to decorate?! So, I decided I am going to wrap and turn my two posts to my patio into jungle trees! Ok, I have been thinking, how can I pull this off? Well I was at work and I was getting some things for an activity when I noticed the construction paper. Then it hit me! We make trees all the time in class rooms! Here is my rundown on how to make a jungle tree or regular tree... You need brown butcher paper, stapler, marker which is optional, green tissue paper and scissors. Jungle tree: mark quick lines up & down the paper add a few swirls on the trunk of the tree (here is where the marker is optional), Kringle the butcher paper a little and cut slits at top and bottoms of your trees and then twist each cut of the paper at both ends this will be the branches and roots of the tree. You can do the leaves two ways order them from oriental trading or make them outta tissue paper. The leaves are easy you can cut some out or Kringle a bunch of tissue paper. That's it! Another quick DIY Jungle tree✨✨✨

From pacifier holders to birthday prep...

Ok, so once again I'm up late making Disney theme universal pacifier holders. On top of my new hot item to my baby boutique I'm getting my etsy up and going so my MouseWait friends/family and others can find and purchase them more easily. On a different note I learned how to make my own Birthday Banner!!! Just a helping DIY if you need to make one... All you need is 13 sheets of card stock for base circles, 7 sheets decorative paper, 4 sheets of contrasting plain paper and 4 sheets of any color for your lettering. You will need 3 bowls I did a 6 1/2-inch, 5-inch, 4-inch for my circles, pencil to trace your pattern, decorative scissors, hole punch, regular craft glue, and thin ribbon to string it all together and hang. It's really simple I printed out 4 in. Lettering cut and traced it on my good paper then cut out my letters. I then used the bowls to trace and cut 13 circles each size out. As the bowl got smaller I was able to use less paper. I cut all three sizes of circles using decorative scissors which took some time so be patient at this part. After cutting everything I used regular Elmer's glue cause that is what I had around the house. Try to brush it on in a thin layer or smooth it over so it doesn't get to wet and mess up your papers. When layering I just eyed it to the center of each circle and same with the letters. After letting everything dry completely I used the hole punch and put two holes up at the top of each circle then ran my ribbon through it. I used another contrasting color ribbon with it to decorate it with a knot or bow between each letter to keep the letters spaced out and where they should be this keeps your letters from bunching in the center when hung up. Oh I also tied a loop at each end so it can easily be tacked up. That's it! Loved the way it came out for my first time making a banner loved it!!! Hope this helps anyone trying a DIY banner or like me a theme that doesn't have any party supplies to.

Chocolate pretzels?

So, I have been working with chocolate lately trying new ideas for the baby's 1st birthday. If your looking to work with chocolate use dark and or white chocolate for two reasons it sets better and milk chocolate melts fast. I currently fell in love with my moms chocolate covered pretzels. The pretzels are a really cute decor at birthday party's and baby showers plus really easy to make here ya go easy to follow recipe: 2 bags of jumbo pretzel sticks will make a little over 40 pretzels and 2 1/2 lbs. of dark chocolate, 1 1/2 lbs. of white chocolate, one bag of Worthers soft Carmel bites... Hand roll the Carmel bite then wrap it around the pretzel. Heat/melt your dark chocolates dip your Carmel covered pretzels half way then place on parchment paper. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle over all the pretzels it's purely decorative... But that's it very easy! Just thought I would share and from experience don't use milk chocolate when it comes a lot of the DIY projects it melts and doesn't set up (firm up) it melts and ends up messy. Love it!
